Lili Marlene is a support group that works at state level providing assistance for transgender people and their relatives. It is based in Dortmund.

TransBekannt e.V.

We offer transgender people a first place to go, a safe space where experiences can be exchanged in a cozy environment during our group evenings.

Group meetings:
2nd Saturday of the month.
6 to 10 pm 
(open on holidays)

Additionally, we offer counselling services through our contact point.

Trans*Block aims to promote the visibility of trans people. To do so, it organises a trans section in the Cologne Pride march and invites people from all over North Rhine-Westphalia to march along. Over the years, the group has steadily grown.

queerblick is a media project based in Dortmund that aims to support young queers before, during and after their coming out — both by involving them in the project and by providing content for them on the Internet.

/Sunrise Dortmund

Sunrise is a centre that, among others, provides counselling and group activities for young queers. Its trans counselling service is open for all young trans people under the age of 23, as well as for their relatives and for educators who are in contact with trans youth and young adults.
